On-Site Clinic Services
Avoid the hassle of transportation and inclement weather, as well as reduce your exposure to illness. While residing short-term or long-term at Dove Healthcare - West Eau Claire, you can elect to use our on-site physician services. We collaborated with a local medical clinic to have a physician and NP provide on-site primary care services and address concerns or medical needs that do not require a visit out to a community clinic or emergency room.
On-site visits may include exams; order writing / clarification; coordination of care; nursing direction; and referrals to heart failure clinics, anticoagulation clinics, palliative care programs, and other ancillary providers to enhance consistency of care. The cost of the visit is covered by your insurance or Medicare coverage (exactly the same as if you went to the clinic). Outcomes may include decreased need for office visits; improved response time to medical needs; and reduced admissions to the hospital.
If you elect to use this service, the physician will become your primary medical provider for the duration of your stay. Upon discharge, you will resume care with your community primary care physician. They will receive a summary of the care you received during your stay with us from our physician. No One Dies Alone
Volunteer to be a companion at Dove Healthcare - West Eau Claire, and offer support to those who are dying. From time to time, residents have neither family nor friends to be with them as they near the end of their life. Even when loved ones are able to be present, they may need to take an occasional break away. Whether it is a willingness to hold a hand, fluff a pillow, or just be present, volunteers perform a variety of comfort care measures.
To volunteer, complete the application and return it for screening and background check. Once approved, you must attend a training session. Volunteers are required to maintain the complete confidentiality of each resident and respect their spirituality. Call 715-552-1030 for more information. Complete the application
All of the employees are very caring and dedicated to their jobs. They take great care of the patients. This includes the great care provided by everyone in rehabilitation. I would recommend Dove Healthcare -West Eau Claire to everyone.
Because of my knee replacement, I needed daily therapy and some extra care. Being at Dove Healthcare - West Eau Claire was one of the best decisions I have made. After two months, I was walking mainly with a cane and little pain.I would encourage anyone if they need nursing home care to consider coming here. I came meeting strangers and left missing family.
Everyone was so friendly, know what they are doing, and work so hard. The food was good, and the care was excellent. The therapy team did a great job getting me well and strong enough to go home. Everyone made my stay enjoyable, and it went really fast. Please tell all of the employees how much I appreciate all they did and how much I'm going to miss them.
My mom moved to Dove Healthcare - West Eau Claire 10 years ago. I talked to her often and visited, and she never had anything bad to say. The staff was wonderful! I know they truly cared about my mom. She loved the activities. They made sure she was always aware of any games, outings, book reading, everything! I can't tell you what comfort it was to have no worries about my mom.
