On-Site Clinic Services
Avoid the hassle of transportation and inclement weather, as well as reduce your exposure to illness. While residing short-term or long-term at Dove Healthcare - South Eau Claire, you can elect to use our on-site physician services. We collaborated with a local medical clinic to have a physician and NP provide on-site primary care services and address concerns or medical needs that do not require a visit out to a community clinic or emergency room.
On-site visits may include exams; order writing / clarification; coordination of care; nursing direction; and referrals to heart failure clinics, anticoagulation clinics, palliative care programs, and other ancillary providers to enhance consistency of care. The cost of the visit is covered by your insurance or Medicare coverage (exactly the same as if you went to the clinic). Outcomes may include decreased need for office visits; improved response time to medical needs; and reduced admissions to the hospital.
If you elect to use this service, the physician will become your primary medical provider for the duration of your stay. Upon discharge, you will resume care with your community primary care physician. They will receive a summary of the care you received during your stay with us from our physician. After being in the hospital, all I wanted to do was go home. But now, if I had to be anywhere recuperating away from home, this is the place I want to be! Everyone has been so kind, thoughtful, and pleasant. I can honestly say I have not had one bad experience my entire stay at Dove Healthcare - South Eau Claire, and I've really enjoyed my time here!
I was completely dependent after a bad car accident that left me with compounding, debilitating injuries. I kept thinking, 'There's no way they're going to be able to fix this.' But, now I feel free! I can walk on my own and have regained most of my mobility. I will forever be grateful for the entire Dove Healthcare - South Eau Claire team. Even when I felt like giving up, the employees never gave up on me.
At first, I wasn't too excited about being here, but the employees made me feel so at home, and I had so much fun with them. The therapists worked really well with me to get stronger and reach my goals, so that I could regain my independence. I learned a lot and felt encouraged. I would totally recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Dove Healthcare - South Eau Claire!
When I first came to Dove Healthcare - South Eau Claire, I couldn't even roll over without full assistance. The therapists worked not only with my body but also with my mind. They motivated me to do the things I needed to do to become independent. And now, I'm transitioning into assisted living. This experience not only restored my body, it restored my life!
I'm coming to rehabilitation at Dove Healthcare - South Eau Claire twice a week to regain strength and balance in my legs. The neuropathy, the inactivity caused by COVID-19, and gradually slowing down over the years has taken its toll. I am improving physically and my goal is to keep living independently in my home for as long as I can.
I had an exceptional experience here, so much so that I requested to come back again after my second knee replacement surgery. I was impressed by the level of service that I received, and everyone was so knowledgeable and kind-hearted. Their positive attitude helps greatly when a person doesn't feel well.
This has been my second stay here, and I was so very pleased to be back again. The people here are wonderful to work with across all departments. This is such a wonderful place; I recommend it to all my friends and to anyone. Thank you, Dove Healthcare - South Eau Claire, for another excellent rehabilitation experience!
