Meet our 2026 Sandy Rasmussen Annual Scholarship Recipients

We are excited to announce the recipients of Dove Healthcare's 9th Annual $2,500 Sandy Rasmussen Scholarship Award. Congratulations to Khloie Cherek, LPN at Dove Healthcare - West Eau Claire and Lilly Spaeth, CNA at Dove Healthcare - Regional Vent Center!

This scholarship was created in honor and appreciation of Sandy Rasmussen, a dedicated, hard-working, and compassionate employee of Dove Healthcare - Rutledge Home for over 50 years! Sandy served in a variety of roles over the years, from resident assistant to nutritional services director. She has also served her community through countless hours fundraising for the Alzheimer's Association and American Cancer Society. 

Senior Director of Marketing and Communications Evan Hong shared, "Khloie and Lilly embody Sandy's energy, kindness, and dedication to those who depend on us. It is our honor to support them as they further pursue their education and careers in healthcare." 

Khloie is currently studying nursing at Chippewa Valley Technical College and Lilly is enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to study biology.
